Areas Of Practice
Joseph is a Member and has been with the Firm since May 2004.  He focuses his practice on business and construction litigation matters regularly representing subcontractors, general contractors and owners in matters involving materialman’s liens and bond claims on both private and public construction projects in both State and Federal Courts.  As part of this practice, Joseph also advises construction clients with respect to contracts, change orders and other legal documents in the construction process.

In addition to his business and construction practice, Joseph also practices in the creditors’ rights and creditor bankruptcy areas, and assists the Firm in its community association law practice on behalf of creditors.  He also represents commercial landlords and maintains an active practice in both commercial and residential landlord/tenant law.  Joseph also represents clients on minor traffic violations and infractions before the Wake County Court.

Joseph regularly lectures trade association groups on the topics of commercial and residential landlord/tenant law as well as various continuing legal education seminars on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, community association law and foreclosure.
