The associates of our firm typically join at least one or more practice groups, broadly separated into litigation and transactional practices. Within each of these broad groups, associates handle a range of legal matters and cases for supervising partners. Associates can expect significant client interaction and responsibilities at a relatively early stage in their careers. Associates work with partners closely in order to insure clients’ needs are met and the associates’ career expectations are satisfied. We value our associates as essential to the long term success of the firm and they are treated accordingly.
Our paralegals and legal assistants work with lawyers to assist with clients needs. We have paralegals with legal certification through the N.C. State Bar, as well as other legal assistants who perform clerical tasks and work necessary in our practice. The support staff at the firm is an important part of the way in which the firm operates in order to provide maximum efficiency and value for our clients.
