Weldon Jones is a partner in the firm’s litigation practice, where he represents businesses, individuals, and community associations in a wide range of disputes involving construction law, commercial litigation, and community association matters. In addition to his litigation practice, Weldon advises clients with legislative interests and represents them before the North Carolina General Assembly. His experience working both in litigation and legislative advocacy allows him to provide clients with practical guidance when legal disputes intersect with regulatory or policy considerations.

- Represents clients before the North Carolina General Assembly on legislative and policy matters affecting their industries.
- Represents community associations in matters involving developer formation, governance and transition issues, construction defect claims, and general association administration.
- Handles complex construction disputes involving contractors, subcontractors, and development projects, including arbitration and litigation proceedings.
- Represents businesses and individuals in commercial disputes involving contractual, workplace, and payment-related matters.
- Participates in trials and other contested proceedings in state courts and alternative dispute resolution forums.
- Advises clients on litigation avoidance strategies and dispute resolution approaches to minimize risk and cost.
