We regularly represent general contractors, restoration contractors, specialty trade contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in contract negotiations, project disputes, and claims involving payment, delays, change orders, and design and workmanship issues. Our team also advises construction clients on compliance with the distinct statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to both public and private projects.

Our construction lawyers have substantial experience in construction litigation and dispute resolution, including matters in state and federal courts, the insurance appraisal process, at the appellate level, and through arbitration and mediation. We handle disputes involving liquidated damages, scheduling and delay claims, architect and engineer liability, payment bonds, mechanics’ liens, and construction defect claims.

In addition to dispute resolution, we routinely review and negotiate contracts and project documents to help clients avoid costly disputes and protect their interests on complex commercial construction projects.
